Levine Museum of the New South

The exhibits in the Levin Museum of the New South focus on the life in the North Carolina Piedmont after the American Civil War.  It includes temporary and permanent exhibits on a wide range of difficult Southern related topics – to tell “everyone’s” story.  Its mission is to help people understand history, how it has reshaped the past, and therefore found common ground and is transforming communities.

Mint Museum Uptown

Established in 1936 as Charlotte’s first art museum, The Mint Museum showcases international art, craft, and design – – – plus it hosts live performances and educational programs for “everyone!”

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art

Spanning 36,500 square feet, this spacious museum is dedicated to showcasing mid-20th-centruy modern art.  As part of the Levine Center, the Bechtler is poised to display exhibits by artists from around the world and present programs of fun, film, and music for the young and the old!
